Absecon Diary of Margie Roth, 1933-37 Showgirl and Absecon resident, Margie Roth wrote her diary during the Great Depression of the 1930s. This book portrays life in the Atlantic City area at that time in our history. Many of the old landmarks described in the Diary are no longer in existence, but many remain.
